Privacy Policy

The short version

Sketchless keeps only what it needs to run the game: your scores, your guesses, and the sketches you choose to save. There are no ads and no tracking, and we never sell your data.

Who we are

Sketchless is made by Third Rail Platform in Austin, Texas. Questions about this policy can go to support@sketchless.app.

What we collect

• Game results. For each round: the date, the mode (Daily Sketch, Levels or Custom), the word list, what you typed for each sketch, your score, and any calls you flipped.
• Sketches you save. Your drawings are stored only if you save a round to your Sketchbook. Rounds you don't save keep the score and guesses, but not the drawings.
• Account details. If you sign in, we store your email address. If you use Google, Google shares your email address, name and profile picture with us. We use the email address to sign you in, and nothing else.
• Guest play. If you play without signing in, we create a random guest ID so your streak and rounds can be saved. It isn't linked to your name or email.
• Technical information. Like any website, the services that run Sketchless receive your IP address and basic browser information when you visit. These are used to deliver the game and to block bots.

What we don't do

• No advertising, and no ad networks.
• No analytics or tracking tools, and no following you across other apps or websites.
• We never sell or rent your information.

Services we use

A few trusted companies help run Sketchless. They process data only to provide their service to us.

• Supabase stores game data and handles sign-in.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that visitors are people, not bots.
• Google provides sign-in, if you choose it, and the fonts the game uses.
• jsDelivr delivers a code library the game loads.
• Our web host serves the game's pages.

Your choices

• Remove sketches anytime: open a round in your Sketchbook and choose "Remove from Sketchbook."
• Delete everything. Email support@sketchless.app from the address you sign in with, and we'll delete your account, rounds and sketches within 30 days.
• Get a copy of your data by emailing the same address.

We keep your data while your account exists, and delete it when you ask.

Children

Sketchless isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has signed in, email us and we'll delete the account.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
